Non-Profit Board Development

Whether you are the director of a non-profit, or you are a board member, this workshop will be useful to help grow your board to assist your organization. Come learn more about board development, including: •Recruiting board members •Expectations •Roles and responsibilities •Training •Handing conflict •Conducting board meetings - Protocol and procedures •Committees This workshop will be taught by Stephanie Schweitzer Dixon, a grant writer and consultant for non-profit organizations for ten years. She has a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Mary. Schweitzer Dixon has authored and introductory grant writing manual and an advanced grant writing manual. She is currently working on additional manuals on non-profit management and fundraising practices. Schweitzer Dixon is also the part-time director of a non-profit organization.
