The program objectives are derived from the institutional mission.  The objectives are narrowed in scope compared to the institution's mission and address the needs and expectations of the program's constituents.  The methodology is the curriculum and related activities that the program employs to meet the program objectives.  Outcomes are the measurable criteria that will provide the bases of determining the extent to which the program methodology is meeting the program objectives.  Evaluation is the process of designing and implementing the collection of meaningful data that will provide valid measures of objective satisfaction extent.  The data from the evaluation phase are assessed to determine their implications on the program methodology.  The assessment  results in documentation of actions to be taken to improve the program.  Actions are then undertaken to improve the program.  Clear summaries of all phases of the process are published and disseminated to all constituents.
