Dakota Artist Blacksmith Association

Mr. Jack Parks, a local blacksmith, hosts SDSM&T's Metallurgical Engineering student’s at his shop in
Piedmont, South Dakota. The Dakota Artist Blacksmith Association is a group of individuals that share a
desire to preserve the ages old art of working with fire and steel. Our group consists of people with skill
levels from beginner to professional, all
with something to contribute to others. If you are in the area on the second
Saturday of the month please feel free to stop in and see what we are all about.
