Research and Graduate Education at South Dakota Tech
South Dakota Tech, an engineering and science university in Rapid City, S.D., is conducting national searches to fill critical positions in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, in Tech's new Institute for Multi-Scale Materials Development and Processing, and in the new South Dakota Tech Development Laboratory. All three positions will focus on advancing South Dakota Tech's research and development initiatives and on helping the university meet its priority of using campus expertise to encourage economic development in the state and region. Much of that encouragement will come from results of South Dakota Tech's research capabilities and initiatives.
The positions:
Director of the Institute for Multi-Scale Materials Development and Processing (IMM). This position will lead the Institute, a new creation that will coordinate and enhance materials science research activities currently under way.
Director of the new South Dakota Tech Development Laboratory. The laboratory will house polymer and related research, much of which will support national defense projects.
