Campus Emergency Procedures - Medical Emergency
In case of a serious medical emergency, CALL 9-911, Campus Safety at extension 6100, then:
- Call your Supervisor or Resident Director.

Call Campus Safety at extension 6100. Give your name, telephone extension, location, and a description of the problem.

Stay with the victim. If the victim is conscious, ask what the problem is. If the victim is unconscious, check for breathing and bleeding; Do Not move the individual until trained personnel arrive or immediate threat to life exists. Only trained individuals should administer first aid and CPR.
- Keep the victim still, comfortable, and warm.
- Protect the victim from any disturbances.
- Search for any emergency identification (i.e. ID Bracelet).
- Wait for emergency help to arrive. Never leave the victim alone if at all possible.
