APP Express for Stafford Loan Borrowers
If you have never borrowed a Stafford Student Loan for attendance at SDSM&T, click here for a direct link to the Education Assistance Corporation's (EAC) APP EXPRESS Master Promissory Note (MPN) process. This will be your opportunity to complete an electronic MPN and use your U.S. Department of Education PIN to electronically sign the MPN. While completing the MPN, if your lender is not listed on the pull down menu, please contact our office, since you may not be able to use the Electronic MPN process for applying for your Stafford Loan.
APP Express for Graduate PLUS Loan Borrowers
Graduate students who have exhausted their eligibililty for the Federal Student Loan Program funds, may now apply for funds from the GRAD PLUS loan program. To apply for a GRAD PLUS Loan using the Electronic Master Promissory Note process, click here for a direct link to the Education Assistance Corporation's (EAC) APP EXPRESS Master Promissory Note (MPN) process. You must have your U.S. Department of Education PIN to electronically sign the MPN. If you do not have a PIN, this site also provides a link to the U.S. Department of Education PIN Registration. While completing the MPN, if your lender is not listed on the pull down menu, please contact our office, since you may not be able to use the Electronic MPN process for applying for your GRAD PLUS Loan.

To apply for the Parent PLUS Loan using the Electronic Master Promissory Note process, click here for a direct link to the Education Assistance Corporation's (EAC) APP EXPRESS Master Promissory Note (MPN) process. You must have your U.S. Department of Education PIN to electronically sign the MPN. If you do not have a PIN, this site also provides a link to the U.S. Department of Education PIN Registration. While completing the MPN, if your lender is not listed on the pull down menu, please contact our office, since you may not be able to use the Electronic MPN process for applying for your Parent PLUS Loan.
