KTEQ is a student-run, non-profit radio station on the campus of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, SD.
KTEQ applied for a full power FM license in the recent FCC filling window!

KTEQ, established in 1971, is SDSM&T's alternative radio station. The only rule KTEQ has about music, is that it cannot be Top 40 (the stuff played on 99.99% of radio). The DJs set their own playlists, ranging from metal, rap, rock, oldies, techno, country...etc.
Currently, KTEQ is not broadcasting via radio, only Internet streaming and closed circuit TV on campus (Ch. 34).
