Introduction to ArcGIS I

An introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) using the ArcGIS 9 software. Learn to visualize and analyze map information for better decision making. Learn to produce quality digital maps. Course includes lectures by GIS author Dr. Maribeth Price. There will be plenty of hands-on fun!

The workshop will cover the basics of using ArcMap and ArcCatalog, as well as creating maps, working with tables, developing map layouts, and doing spatial analysis. No previous GIS experience is required. Good skills with Windows software are strongly recommended. All books and materials are included. Workshop is limited to 14 participants.
