Project Management |

This workshop will be broken into two modules. The workshop will
include a number of group exercises to establish the team concepts used in
project management. Workshop participants will also use team tools
to identify problems and possible solutions to real problems.
Participants completing the workshop will be able to successfully work as
a team to identify a project, establish primary tasks through a work
breakdown, and establish a Gantt chart for tracking project progress.

Instructor Dr. Stuart Kellogg joined the School of Mines faculty in 1990
as an associate professor of industrial engineering. Prior to this,
Dr. Kellogg taught at the University of Miami and the University of Texas,
and also spent 10 years as a pilot and operations research officer with
the United States Air Force. Dr. Kellogg currently serves as
coordinator and professor for the industrial engineering and technology
management programs at the School of Mines. |
