Science Technology Engineering Preview Summer Camp
(STEPS)
for boys, grades 6-8, is a one-week introduction to
the world of
technology and engineering.
Campers
participate
in hands-on
activities that give them an understanding of what
engineers do. Students will also explore science and engineering topics such as materials, clean manufacturing,
CAD and team building.
Boys will make a checkerboard and
checkers during
camp, and also get to
try
blacksmithing. Of course there is time for fun! The camp also includes a number of
activities that may include swimming, pizza parties, a field trip, etc.
Participants will experience dorm life, cafeteria food and learn what
it is like to be on a college campus.
