Protect Your Melon

Students will design a helmet to protect their "melon." They will learn basic design principles, safety principles and then apply them to create a helmet that will protect a cantaloupe melon when it is dropped from a stairway. Monday, August 4, 2008 1-3 p.m. Grades 6-8 (co-ed) $20
