Drug-Free Workplace

 

South Dakota School of Mines and Technology provides a drug-free workplace. The unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited on campus and related work sites. Employees will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal, for the unauthorized possession of illegal, nonprescribed drugs and narcotics or alcoholic beverages while on campus or related work sites; being under the influence of such substances while working; using them while working; or dispensing, distributing, or illegally manufacturing or selling them on campus and South Dakota School of Mines and Technology work sites.
