School of Mines Family Weekend - Meeting of the Mines

Due to weather, the Veterans' Appreciation Reception scheduled from 2-4 pm on November 7 has been postponed and the President's Reception Scheduled from 3:30-4:30 has been canceled. However, the president will give his remarks before the Variety Show at 7:00 pm in the Surbeck Center Ballroom.

In addition, the Tailgate Lunch before the football game on November 8 has been canceled.

All other events will run as scheduled.

3:30 pm - Canceled: President's Reception @ Christensen Hall of Fame (President address at 4:00 pm) 5:00 pm - Tau Beta Phi Initiation (by invitation) @ Surbeck Center 7:00 pm - Variety Show- performances by School of Mines students - @ Surbeck Center Ballroom (with President's Address before the show)

Saturday, November 8

9:30-10:00 am* - CommUniversity @ Surbeck Center Bump Lounge 10:00-Noon - Multicultural Affairs Reception @ Surbeck Center Lower Level 11:00-1:00 pm - Lunch @ Dining Hall, Surbeck Center 11:00-12:30 pm* - Academic & Activities Fair @ Surbeck Center 11:30-1:00 pm - Canceled: Football Tailgate Lunch @ O'Harra Stadium ($3 per person) 1:00 pm - Football vs. Black Hills State University @ O'Harra Stadium 1:00-2:00 pm* - Department Open Houses
