The Reddmen are the essence of lo-fi power pop. They blasted out
of South Dakota in 1996 with an addictive, hyperactive, garage sound.
The band's 23 track self released debut full length was recorded on an
eight track analog tape machine with one microphone on their
basement. Sons of the Morning Star offers catchy sugar sweet hooks
and terrific vocals harmonies channeled through fuzzed out, crunch
distorted guitars and over-powering drums to give you dynamic, vibrant,
powerful pop rock.
The Reddmen play some of the best power-pop out there and have an
exposive, energetic live show you can?t miss. Hook after hook, beat
after beat, this record is undeniably infectious.?
-Chuck Ommen, (CASCADE RETREAT)
. . . are obscenely loud and extremely full of sass, all the snarls and
posey rock kicks, Pete Townsendesque windmills, and Mick Jagger-like
dance moves keep you amused and impressed.?
-Tim Smith, (SEA OF SEED Fanzine)
